Every month we hand-roast one small batch in Palm Beach County — about 20 bags today, growing toward 40. Instead of a timed drop you have to race for, each month opens in advance and stays open until it's fully reserved.

Pick any open month on the Artisan Allocation page, pay once, and your bag is guaranteed. We roast it the week shown and ship within 48 hours. No countdowns, no lottery, no refreshing a page at 10am.

$28 for a 12 oz bag. $23 covers the coffee — green beans, roasting, the bag, card fees, and keeping a one-person roastery running. $5 goes to our rescue partner, a local Palm Beach County dog rescue.

Shipping is a $6 flat rate within Florida, and free when you reserve 2 or more bags.

Each month shows its roast week (for example, "Week of Dec 7"). Your bag ships within 48 hours of that roast, and Florida delivery usually takes 2–5 business days. You'll get an email with tracking when it ships.

If a roast ever has to move, we'll email you before the original date with the new date — and you can cancel for a full refund.

Yes. You can cancel for a full refund any time before your month is roasted — just email hello@good-dog-roasters.com with your order number. Once a bag is roasted for you it's perishable, so after that our normal return policy applies.

You're reserving the roast, not a specific bean. Each month's coffee is the roaster's choice, announced with its full tasting profile about two weeks before roast. If it's not for you, cancel before roast for a full refund or move your bag to another month.

Up to 2 bags per person per month, so one order can't take a whole batch. Want more? Reserve bags across multiple months.

Every Artisan bag sends a fixed $5 to our current rescue partner, a 501(c)(3) animal rescue here in Palm Beach County. Every Everyday Collection bag sends $1. Our partner is named on the Artisan Allocation page.

We pay our partner every quarter and post who was paid, the bag count, amount, date paid, and receipt in the Giving Ledger. No "portion of proceeds" — a number you can check.

Over time we plan to support several local animal charities, rotating partners. Each partner gets at least 60 days' notice before a change and is paid in full for every bag sold during their time with us.

Artisan Collection: Roasted by us, by hand, in small batches in Palm Beach County. Reserved by month, ships within 48 hours of roast. Florida only.

Everyday Collection: Curated single origins, blends, teas, and sample packs fulfilled by a licensed commercial roaster. Always in stock, ships nationwide. This is the coffee we stand behind every day — it just isn't roasted in our kitchen.

Every monthly Artisan roast is inspired by a real dog story submitted by one of our customers. The featured story appears on the Artisan page — and eventually on the bag illustration.

You can submit your story here. Tell us about your good dog — what makes them yours — in 500 characters or less. If your story inspires a roast, we'll reach out before publishing anything.

Artisan Collection: We roast your month's batch and ship within 48 hours. No sitting on shelves. No mystery roast dates buried in fine print. The roast date is on every bag.

Everyday Collection: Roasted and fulfilled by our commercial partner. Roast dates vary — we recommend brewing within 2–4 weeks of receipt for best flavor.

Not a traditional subscription yet — but Artisan Allocation gets close. You can reserve bags in each open month (up to three months ahead), so you're never without coffee. Our Everyday Collection is always in stock if you need something in between.

Our artisan roasts are made in our Palm Beach County kitchen. Under Florida's Cottage Food Law (Florida Statute 500.80), home-roasted food products can only be sold directly to consumers within Florida — interstate shipping isn't permitted under this exemption.

Our Everyday Collection ships to all 50 states. As our artisan operation grows and we obtain a commercial food establishment license, we'll open artisan shipping nationwide — newsletter subscribers will hear first. See our full Shipping Policy for details.

Artisan Collection: Ships within 48 hours of your month's roast. Delivery within Florida is typically 2–5 business days.

Everyday Collection: Processed within 1–3 business days, delivered in 3–7 business days depending on your location. You'll receive a tracking number as soon as your order ships.

Coffee is a perishable product, so all sales are final — we can't accept returns for taste preference. That said, if your order arrived damaged, defective, or incorrect, we'll make it right. Email us at hello@good-dog-roasters.com within 7 days of delivery with a photo and your order number.
