Shipping Policy

Artisan Collection — Florida only

Our Artisan Collection is roasted by hand in small batches in our Palm Beach County kitchen. Under Florida's Cottage Food Law (Florida Statute 500.80), home-roasted food products may only be sold directly to consumers within the state of Florida. Artisan coffee ships to Florida addresses only — we cannot ship artisan coffee outside of Florida at this time.

Every Artisan bag is labeled: "Made in a cottage food operation that is not subject to Florida's food safety regulations."

Artisan shipping timeline

• Your bag ships within 48 hours of your month's roast — the roast week is shown when you reserve
• Delivery within Florida: typically 2–5 business days via USPS Ground Advantage
• Shipping: $6 flat rate within Florida, free on 2 or more bags
• You will receive a tracking number by email once your order ships

Reserved by month

Artisan coffee is reserved in advance by roast month. Every reserved bag is roasted for that month's batch and there is no surplus inventory. If a roast date has to move, we'll email you before the original date with the new date and the option to cancel for a full refund.

Everyday Collection — ships nationwide

Our Everyday Collection (Single Origin coffees, Blends, Sample Packs, and Tea) is fulfilled by a licensed commercial roaster through our fulfillment partner. These coffees ship to all 50 U.S. states.

Everyday shipping timeline

• Orders are processed and shipped within 1–3 business days
• Standard shipping: 3–7 business days depending on your location
• Expedited options may be available at checkout
• You will receive a tracking number by email once your order ships

Shipping rates

Artisan: $6 flat rate within Florida, free on 2 or more bags. Everyday: calculated at checkout based on your location and order weight. We do not mark up shipping.

P.O. Boxes

We can ship to P.O. Boxes via USPS. If your order is being fulfilled by UPS or FedEx, a physical address is required.

International shipping

We do not currently ship outside the United States.

Lost or delayed packages

Once a package is in the carrier's hands, delivery timing is outside our control. If your tracking shows your package is stuck or has been lost, contact us at hello@good-dog-roasters.com and we will work with the carrier on your behalf.

Why artisan coffee is Florida-only — and what's coming

As our artisan operation grows, we intend to obtain a commercial food establishment license, which will allow us to ship hand-roasted artisan coffee to all 50 states. When that happens, we'll announce it to our newsletter list first. Join the newsletter to be the first to know.
